The heavy weight of tiny little things

'The heavy weight of tiny little things’, strings together a series of observations into a single stream of paper, emitted from a dot matrix printer. The work produces “a mound of traces” left by each artist in The Packet. The work was a sculptural site specific installation in the Ishara Foundation’s show “Growing Like A Tree”, the printer emits a highly distinct screeching sound as it works, interacting with the soundscapes created by other works in the space.
